Hi guys,

What's the brake bleeding sequence for civic 96?
I got this diagram.
The problem is it's for USDM. Does AU model also follow the same sequence?

No - since the BMC is located on the other side. Swap sides - Start FURTHEST from BMC....

RL , RR , FL , FR.

Make sense ?

im pretty sure that our master cyl is on the opposite side the yanks (ours being rhd, theres lhd

so it should be

1.RL
2.RR
3.FL
4.FR

How come in my crx service manual it says,

FR,RL,FL,RR?

Ive always done furthest away from MC first without any probs as well.

The diagram is taken from the civic service manual book. It can't be that different.

The RL RR FL FR is the teggy way i think.

So the the question is to follow the
RearRight FrontLeft RearLeft FrontRight (1)
or
RearLeft FrontRight RearRight FrontLeft (2)

I would think the (1) way considering the brake line is connected to brake proportioning valve the same way, regardless AUDM or USDM.
But then it could be the (2) because the BMC is on the other side.
Confused ??

Does anyone has a AUDM service manual?

BENJ is correct, this is the Australian industry standard.
CRXer,they might want you too bleed it that way due to the duel circuit for brakes, some cars run front to rear and other cars run diagonal, front left and rear right as one circuit,so hence the bleed sequence, just a thought, peace out.

3 4 1 2

You mean RearLeft FrontRight RearRight FrontLeft ?
So the proportioning valve doesn't matter. It's the bmc that matters?
