I'm sorry but that system must be so ineffecient. The only air that intercooler will see is air that has passed through the radiator and has then been heated by the engine.

You should be able to get a much better system made up out here for that sort of money.

Still good to see....

but i cant find any cheaper way to go to that figure if not turbo it as I get quote for the k20A engine is $8k+ alone
and labour may even the double of the engine like Z10 K20A eg

also the kits is just like echo turbo kit which have the same problem of engine being too small but the result are great. I read somewhere in the magazine which said the air flow problem is not an issue for SOME REASON which I forget. I try to find the issue first LOL

That's crazy!

BUT a K20A would be MUCH more fun... even a K20A2... just hondata it hehehe

but looks like a fun car... just want a lil torque for a city runabout.

Some extra torque would be good.

I still can't see how that intercooler setup can be very good...if you find out why it's OK TypeG, post it up.

What I wouldn't mind is a small supercharger kit for it. Much more room for it in the engine bay and you get the nice low-down torque on tap from the word go.

I wish they would hurry up and release the Jazz/Fit in America....

yes but for the price, it sound not so worth as 8k for the engine and BIG $ for labour, turbo will be enough and the power figure is not that bad. can beat many car already.
LOL i dun like HKS one either coz i always think the intercooler in fun is better and look very nice.

BMI did a review of a Fit Aria turbo once...
it wasn't made to be a track car nor a 1/4 car...just for show and with loads of stereo equipment....it drove like crap...
although this jazz looks like it used the turbo for track application...good on them!!
but definately would be better with a k20

But a watercooled intercooler would work fine (like those found in the early RS model libertys)
The watercooled intercooler's are actually more efficient at producing colder air and would only need to be that small!! That could be an option. :D

Wonder what a jazz with a 50 or 75shot of N20 would be like

Does anyone have a picture of a jazz/fit fitted with a set of extractors??

TypeG

lol
one mth later i can give u a pic with spoon headers in a Jazz but is hard to take pic coz header is behind the engine.
u remind me man.... Lil are true coz this is what i saw in the magazine about Echo turbo kits which design the similar as Jazz

and it was Auto, had airbag suspension and wasn't worthy of a BMI test drive IMHO. :)

Yeah right, as if that would ever happen. As much as you and I want it to happen, I doubt it. American's really wouldn't care for economical cars, all they have (primarily) are fuel guzzlers :(

Anyway, I WANT A TURBO JAZZ!!! (Or even a K20a engine would be nice with RWD :D)

Yeah thats what i thought :(
Will be expensive and hard to fit huh?? Like to have a custom set made, as you couldnt clamp and spotweld the pipes to make the shapes etc....spewin :(
