what hes saying is:
we need to order him a new clutch for his zc crx engine thats in his eg.
Bursons and Repco etc, only have clutch part numbers for australian engines, but the zc is a jdm engine........
so are there any clutches that are the same as the zc, so we can order that one? or do we need to try and source a clutch for the jdm zc,this will be harder

I believe the cluth from 89-91 CRX Si or Concerto will fit to ZC, which is D16a8/9

d16a8 and zc are essentially the same thing. i imagine clutches would be interchangible between the two..

i got a d16a8, quiet sure its the same as zc. i took my gearbox to exedy so they could match it up. bad thing is, i cant even remember which was for mine.
there is 2 different types of clutches for d16s, one uses 20 teeth, other has 21 teeth, but I think zc/d16a8 is the same thing.

problem solved guys.i put the clutch from my old twin carb engine i had lying around into his zc gearbox.runs fine.......for future reference - i was going to put my old twin carb gearbox on his car too,but its different to the zc gearbox but only very slightly - the zc runs larger diameter drive shafts (the driveshafts are a different design, they use a centre bearing whereas the twin carb doesnt,so i couldnt just put my old driveshafts into his car with my old box)
all over, car is bak out on the road
