Hi,

When hard on the brake, wheels lock, and ABS kicks in, will the ABS light in the panel light up too?

Thanks.

I would not think so.

your light will usually come on if you have a problem with it. (for example, faulty unit or something)

have you tried to reset the ecu?

if its still on more often than off. bring it to Honda for them to diagnose the problem

sorry to change the topic....
but just want to ask a question, i was heading home the other day and the car in front of me braked fairly suddenly resulting in me having to do the same thing.
for the duration that i was hard on the brake i noticed that the wheels "did not" lock up but i heard this buzzing sound coming from the car whilst i was slowing down and it went away as soon as the car stopped. just want to confirm is this buzzing sound coming from the ABS doing its job? cause ive had the car for close to a year now and this is the only time ive heard it, havent really had to brake hard before, this is the first time.
i just want to make sure its actually the ABS and not something wrong with the car.

yes that is the ABS actuator functioning

its normal

from time to time you will get this on start up, a quick buzz and pulse on the brake pedal

excellent...was soo scared that something was wrong with the car or that i hurt it in some way by braking too hard =)
