u may need spacer for fitment, i don't recon this way, try 18 x 7.5, best size for FD

i think you will be fine. aslong as you have the right offset - i fit 20x8 on my car no problems. would depend on how low you want it to be etc but i dont the you would need spacers

im currently running on 18 x 7.5 all around
but i wanna change it to another set of wheels
just worry about the larger wheel in on the back.
or should i go 18 all around again....but if thats the case, then no pt changing i guess..

18" or 19 or 20, not problems, you will get low profile tyre anyway, so overall diameter would be the same.
only width. but max front 8.5 and rear 9
fit ? depend the offset. the tyre shop will know which model fit, which not.
mine width 8" (front and rear), no probs at all (*only illegal issue here;))

2" lowered
if you have lowered your car 2 inches and are thinking of 18x8, id reconsider
I have 18 x 7.5 with 225 / 40 / r 18 +40 offset, with ~2" lowering via coilovers and even with the damper settings maxed out i still got MASSIVE amounts of scrubbing. Only way i overcame this was to cut holes out of my fender liners and bend back the metal brackets for your liner clips.

i reckon 18x7.5, you shouldnt have any problem at all, thats the standard rim size for fd2R
wrong offset that cause the problem
just buy spacer if it rubs inside the wheel arc, as far as i know civic fd fn best offset btween 42 to 45

the lower offset you go, your wheel will stick out further
38 offset, it looks like nissan or toyota wheel offset

the guy above me already said 18" rims 40 offset has problem
you have 19" with 38 offset, if i was you, i wouldnt get the rim at all
especially the front 19X8 with 38 offset, is your FD wide body?
anyway have you try fit the rims yet? and post the picture pls if you have

Wouldn't you have to pay to roll the guards if it's slightly lowered and you put 19 or 20s on? Also wouldn't the ride be HORRIBLE if stock was 15s? And bending a rim by going over a pothole is a likely occurance? as well as scrubbing DEFINITELY on 19s, let alone possibly with 18s too, even on a 7.5 width?
