I have mine tomorrow and would like to know if I'm getting ripped. I have them supply/do all in the manual except rotate the tyres as I just got new C-drives (bloody excellent tyre, expense though).

Same price as the 30,000km service I reckon.

doesn't the 60,000km have brake bleed?
should be somewhere b/w a 40,000km and a minor 10k service.

Brake bleed shouldn't cost too much extra. Under $100 extra.

no idea what they charge =p probably over priced as per usual.
60k is a bludge service, loved coping them after lunch just sit and watch the vacuum bleeder suck

Yer, seems to be a normal minor service + brake bleed and fluid change.

yeh. some dealerships will try sell you an auto trans fluid change too (some go by book, some do every 20k or so)

i personally would opt to change the atf more regularly, by the book its only like every 120k. the only common 'mechanical' fault in hondas over the last 10 years or so has been auto or cvt transmissions, so i'd be looking after mine

I also usually get my auto fluid changed more regularly too but might wait till the 70000 as money's a bit tight atm. After August the car won't be driven as much and as hard anyway as it goes to my wife and I'm likely to be getting a Jazz.

hi guys,
just wonderin my 60000 service is also (over) due, I'm thinkin of not doin thru the dealerships coz like evryone sez it's a rip-off! Would TODA do log book service and if they do does it void the warranty?

Got home after my 60000 service today. I'm not $497 lighter OUCH. $266.94 of that was labour. They also flushed my power steering and brake fluid.

On a good note they agreed to change my air con Tx valve to stop the whooping noise. Parts on order.

He got his TX valve changed, that makes the service very worth it as you have a good relationship with the service department.

they normally do a pollen filter every 30,000km as well. This is from memory and are supposed to do a valve clearance check as well.

of course this is what honda reccomend and whether the dealer choose to do it is another thing

honestly I would do the brake fluid sooner then 60k and honda also only say to do a oil filter every 20k when they do an oil change every 10k.

when I was in the dealership changes happened with what the manufacturer was wanting us to do at sevice intervals regularly.

I always do a oil and filter change every 5000kms.

I agree.I get oil filter changed every 10K along with oil(BTW i use a full synthetic 5W30).I'm glad they changed brake fluid at 40K as it was 2 yrs.old which i think is long enough.

yeah brake fluid should be time regulaly. It breaks down over time as moistures affects it, more likely to boil more likely to have no brakes.
