hey guys, as the topic states, i'm wandering if dc5 carpet would fit into an em1.
if it doesn't how much would i need to modify to fit? and if it does, what do i need to do to get out my stock carpet? seats, centre console... anything else?
cheers guys. any pics or help greatly appreciated. (Y)

If you are after the red carpet, get EK9, straight swap no hassels.

not after the red carpet in particular. thinking about going the blue but not sure if its close to a straight swap or not. don't mind if theres a little bit of modifying either as long as its not heaps.
you've taken out the carpets in your ej for your build right? is it hard to remove the carpets?

why dont you just get moulded carpet for your car?
you can get them custom made, anywhere between 120-250.

true, getting the moulded carpet or ek9 carpet for straight swap would be best.
otherwise there was a diy before where someone just bought the material and cut to size himself. do a search on the diy section.
not sure on the fitment of the dc5 carpet but its not a straight swap, you would prob have to cut to size, what if you end up with an area where its too small and you need more material, then ur screwed.

Easy mate, just have to remove center console and handbrake cover, rear seats, front seats and have a knife.

having excess carpet is one thing, but not enough could be another.
