Cluster Light

Hi noob question... Can you actually change the cluster light? i got a dc2r and my cluster is abit dull(its turned on to its brightess).

Anyways other day i started up the car half my cluster light wasnt working, the speedo from 120 onwards including the fuel gauge was off too, i got cut do i punched it abit and it re-lit. But yea anyways is there a way to change the cluster light? brighter n better :) thanks.

yeah,
Behind cluster there should be 3 wedge light bulbs, twist and remove.. easy.
the bulb type are the wedge ones same as ur park lights.
Put it back in and replace the Condoms that the bulb goes into if necessary.
With ur fuel or speedo not working, its just D/C or loose plugs, unplug and plug again.
should do the job

Autobarn: $10 a packet with 2 bulbs
btw u will need 3 bulbs, someone correct me if im wrong.

all i know their wedge type bulbs , same as your parkers straight fit onto cluster :thumbsup:

yeah the 3 you will need are the t10 wedge type might as well get some leds theyll last longer

are the LEDS brighter by any chance.. just wonderings ?
if it is, would it be as bright as the euro clusters .. want sumfin bright lol :P

the only way i know of getting them all is off this site but you can of course look at autobarn etc but ive lookd at my local autobarn but they dont have any

LiquidSound a trader here sells them mtec T10s. I purchased them off him for my parkers, guess I might do the same for cluster.

yeah they would fit but its just the other variety the:
5x 74s (wedge type LEDs)
2x T1.5-B 74s (wedge type LEDs)
but T10s are the more common ones since there used as parkers

LED's are bright but they dont spread out as much as the normal light bulbs do.
and for neut, if you punched the cluster and the light came back on its just wiring that might be loose.

LOL its ok as long as there is useful information ;) i dont really mind but yea, i hope the LED's are not that dull as them blue one from that link, i want mine brighter ;)

theres 4/5 t5/t8 wedge bulbs and 1 t10 wedge bulbs.

if you use LED's get a tri LED.

and if u want red ones mine are going for sale soon as i changed my cluster.
