hey guys i was just wondering to lower my ek1 but dont have the money for the springs sohuld i just compress it? will the springs stuff up after a while and is it bad for the car? and will the springs wear out ? any additoin info will be grate guys thnx alot

Compressing springs is a cheap way of doin it but i don't recommend it.

Yes it will stuff up your springs in a way that it will sag alot faster. The spring might even give way to the side if compress incorrectly.

save up more to get a set of 2nd hand spring or even coilovers
do it in proper way

highly not recommended to do that..lowered springs dont really cost that much, also as moo moo nel suggests buying 2nd hand will be even cheaper.
trying to go low baller ur goner end up with more troubles=more costs.

hey it depends on how good ur shocks are?? but you would be better off saving the money and gettin srings...

call wholesale suspension... they can either get ur springs and fit them for bout 400-500 or can just get u the springs.. then u find some1 else to fit them.. they will give u a good price.. give them a call and speak to mark.. tell him ur budget and he can help.. their number is 98318825

save up, and get a proper lowering springs. Just depends how bad you want your car to get lowered, better to be on the safe side.
