Guys
Just a quick one!!, To be specfic
I have +45 offset 18x8 wheels for my euro. looking at running 225/40/18???
Seems to to best match to oem tyre 225/45/17 in terms of diameter and width.
Im about to lower the car 30-35mm also and i just want to be sure it will be fine in terms of no rubbing on the gaurds etc.
Have read +45 and above is the way to go but just trying to confirm with tyre size and the lowering im about to use.
Thanks guys appreciate any feedback.
hey mate, it should be fine. My friend's euro just bought 225/40/18 on 18x8.5 +46 wheels and the car is pretty low(illegal height)...... but still no rubbing or what so ever. Hope this help

if you want light wheels, go volk racing, ce28n is the lightest I think of all the other volk racing model.

yeh for a set of 18 your looking at about 7-8kg, and they are one of the lightest as they are forged.
