EG FRONT BAR PAINT OPTIONS and BONNET

hey guys, i bought a new front bar and i am going to get it painted in the stock light blue colour. i will be leaving the 3 holes black.

where should i leave the black part, and paint the rest of the bar blue...i got a picture to show you guys...i asked around my mates but no clear answers. and i searched in the Clean EG thread but no clear pictures.

where the green arrows are should i leave that black or blue...and if anyone can photoshop me this so i can see...would be appreciated.

also just wondering should i shave the badge off while im at it or not.

it depends on how u want it...usually if u don't say anything, panel beaters/painters are just spraying the side grills (the green arrow part)...if u want to keep them black, then u have to tell them not to spray it...

what badge are u talking about? usually u have to screw in or stick the badge onto the bonnet, so if u have a new bonnet, just fit the bonnet on and see it without the badge...if u think it looks better with a badge, u can stick/screw in the badge...

Yes,please leave them black. Too many EG's going around resprayed by lazy painters. Suppose to look like this:

as said by me and others, it's all up to ur preference...usually the reason why ppl have those side grills painted is cos the painter is lazy to mask them off...

just to remind u again: if u want to keep them black, tell the painter not to spray them

respray the foglight holes .. leave the middle bit black =)

shaved badge looks better i think but doesnt really bother me

hey mate i did sumthing for you using photoshop hope you like it but i think you should do it like that which is more OEM style... its just a ruff draft but i hope it gives you and idea of wot it loOks like or if ur planning on putting fog lights in there it wouldnt reali matter whether yu paint it or not but aslong as the middle grill is black... and defentely jst shave the holes in the bonnet where the badge is supose to go... gives ur car that more of a slick look...
