EG paint start to peel :(

Hi guys, my 1994 EG paint is starting to peel. I can see the clear coating cracked and peeling away now at about 5cm on the bonnet and much more on the roof.

I saw two other EG with peeling paint so the obvious question is this common among civics? And if so what is the remedy aside from repainting the whole thing?

Color is gunmetal grey.

this problem is NOT common amongst civics of that age.
The only reason the paint will peel or bubble is due to previous accident damage or bad respray. Regardless it needs to be fixed up and cut back.

i know of to many other story's like this with civics with paint problems, often with the milano red is very common with paint defects because the lack of uv protection in the paint, like said it will need to be resprayed and look after the rest of ur car with a good polish to prevent anymore happening
