Hi all
I was wondering if anyone knew if a b16a fit straight in a eg civic. Will the mounts meet up, does the gearbox sit in the say position, does anything need to be modified, and whats the wiring like to change over.
thanks

your civic has a d series. a b series will fit, but you will need to change mounts, and possibly the fuel system if you currently have a carby engine.

the mounts to suit the b16a still line up with the original holes in the chasis/cross member or do they need to modified?

ul need to add/move the mount for the gearbox, also things like gear shift linkages, also all the fuel parts to change to EFI, search for a thread there should be tons of info.
from what i was told from sisters friend which owns an eg considering b-series conversion,
eg is the easiest for B-Series conversions!
I rember him saying the mounts straight fit for bseries
correct me if im wrong ; cheers

yes all the D series mounts , BAR the rear T piece (holds the gearbox to the rear enginee mount) can be reused.
