most times you cant.

if and when you can.
youll have the front shocks wear out faster.
since the rear springs have less spring mass rate than the front.
reason being is that the front needs to support more sprung mass. eg. engine.
while the rear only support the boot or driveline/diff assembly if its on a rear wheel drive.

and you ride will bounce alot in the front and be stiff ass in the rear.

recommendation?
dont try it.

OMG - read carefully he only asked front springs to back not the other way round

car will sit lower and the ride will be really hard.

Front spring are heaps harder and lower than rear

bradess refers to after market springs....usually they are quite similar in appearence (front vs rear)

i was thinking though could i put the stock front springs in the back, because they're a bit shorter then the stock rear springs, while having the aftermarket front springs in the front? is that possible?

As long as they seat properly in the cups that holds the spring.

fr33k told me that i could take the rear ones back to kmac and they could raise the springs or something? is that true?

Not sure.Never had experience with Kmac.
Problem with reheating springs is it loses the tensile strength.
But I'm sure they would know what they're doing.

i know that some spring places can reset springs to whatever height you want fairly cheaply. A friend of mine got it done a while ago

i had it the wrong way before , it sits exactly the same in height.

I may be stating the obvious here but, if you put a stiffer front spring into the rear which carries less weight you will have a stiffer rear end which most likely sits higher than before.

mine looked as if they were the same height :S
someone try it :p

oh, my above post assumes the uncompressed springs are of equal height, from memory uncompressed DC2 front springs are shorter than the rears hence why it may remain the same height.

not correct. In most cars (fwd hondas) the front springs are longer than the rears.
