Help!

I just got home and found out for some reason you can't open my passenger door from the inside, so I got out and played around with the latch area on the door. PLayed around with this plastic white thing and now the door won't close, it's like it's permanently locked! I've tried unlocking with the remote, the key and the button on the auto windows panel but it's still locked. Did the same thing to the driver side to see if it was normal and now they're both locked.

2006 euro sport btw.

This is a pic of what I'm talking about:

What do I do!??

Thanks

if i'm not mistaken, you just need to lift the door handle (unlock the door first). try that.

Woohoo, i just lifted up the handle and pushed the plastic bit up at the same time.

Thanks heaps, was stressing for a bit.

Now, any idea why the passenger door won't open from the inside? I just tried it again. I didn't think there was a child lock on the passenger door?

you might have unlatched the mechanism inside. if you can open it from outside but not from inside, that's probably it. just get your honda dealer to fix it for you. just say to them suddenly your passenger door won't open from inside :D

If you can't fix it, use your warranty.

OT: Is the child safety lock on the door still on?

you mean on the front passenger door? I don't think there is one?

Yup, no child safety long on the front passenger door. I reckon, the mechanism has somehow unlatched itself.... Friday special anyone? :)

Sorry my bad, I thought it was the rear door...

Time to take the Friday special build to the dealer to fix...

Haha, any dodgy problems with the car, we blame it on being built on Friday afternoon.

It took me a few hours to find this thread but thank you! i have the same problem because i was silly enoughh to try and fix my central locking problem and accidently pushed the latch down. im yet to try this but i really hope it works and i dont have to pay some muppet to do it for me!!
