hey guys i got no idea between a piggy back ecu and a computer?.... and which of this is better in term of financial and performance gain...

a 'piggy back' uses the factory computer as a base, a 'stand-alone' ecu entirely replaces the factory ecu.
it is said that piggy backs are cheaper, but cant control as well,
stand-alones tend to be more expensive and more sophisticated.
if you have a fairly stock setup, you might just want a V-AFC piggy back controler...
there is much more to it than this, but this is just a quick starting point for you if you want to move forwards...

Exactlty wat tinkerbell said..
I wouldn't see much point on putting a standalone ECU on a EU3.. as far as i know there a SOHC 1.7 litre? (correct me?)
Maybe with i/h/e a VAFC wiill help a little .. but personally i wouldn't do anything more than a piggy back
