The wear on my tyres has been un-even. The deep groves in the middle of the tyre are still quite deep, & the tread blocks on the outside edge are also quite good.
However the tread blocks on the "inside edge" are almost worn out.
As the tread blocks on the inside edge are worn, should the tyres be replaced ?
Thanks
(yes I searched)

Yeah.. should replace them.. esp if the inner of the tyre is worn..
more important find the reason why its wearing un evenly...
camber wear? tyre pressure too low/high? wheel balance? wheel alignmnet.. and so on..

you would find that the majority of you tyres that is actually on the road would be the inside part.. maybe coz you have negative camber..? your car lowered?
so yeah ur pretty much running on bald tyres..

get some new rubber and get a wheel alignment
chances are your toe is out and chewing the tyres
my ek has about -1.5neg camber each side but running 0 toe, no uneven wear issues
pre-wheel alignment though, i went through a pair of tyres at the front within 6 months
was something ridiculous like 15-20mm of toe each side

Anytime any side of the tire wears out, you should get them replaced. Think about it logically, if that section of the tire is wearing out quicker than the others, it means the car's obviously using that section more vigorously, so in any situation, the car relies more heavily on that worn out section of tire, as vinny and dupac mentioned, it's advisable that you get a wheel alignment and wheel balance. It'll solve your tire wear problem, improve your ride handling/quality, improve tire life, fuel consumption, safety etc. If you've lowered your car thus causing it to camber, consider getting adjustable arms to compensate. It's not worth taking a risk on these things as they're the only things holding your car to the road. Good luck mate.
I had the same problem, tyres were fine on the outside but worn on the inside... so i sold em LOL.
But i will get balance/allignment etc for my new ones.

needs changing now, better than coping a fine and paying defects.... this suggestion has nothing to do with the fact i sell tyres, just giving my advice :p
i completely agree on the camber arms
i just installed mine 2 days ago. not only does it make your wheels sit nicer and flush to the guards, you save tyres, run the desired camber and handles better
pro's: handles better, saves tyres, wheel sits more closer to the guard and looks nicer (IMO)
con's: none
and yes, if theres still abit of tread on the inside, and you cant afford to change tyres, try swapping the tyres around..

if you have ridiculous amounts of camber, and no camber kit, you should flip your tyres.
this prelongs the life of your tyres.
flipping is not the same as rotating!, flipping means the inner edge (worn) becomes the outer edge and the outer (unworn) edge becomes the inner edge.
This should be done every 10 000kms as far as i can remember, depending on the amount of camber you have.
A wheel alignment shows you the amount of camber on each wheel (4 wheel alignment). mine was between - 2.5 to -3 degrees.
