there was a version of the twin loop that had a buzz/rattle to it. anyone know which version? and how to tell the differences between the versions?? thannnnnks

they don't sell the s10 no more. Only the s12 which fixed pretty much all these problems.

s10 = barrel shape
s12 = oval

its just that im picking up an old one and the owner doesnt know which version it is.

ok so it was the old s10 that had the buzz. i think a revised version of the s10 came out? that fixed the problem?

yep there was a revised version as s12 began a new line of twin loop styles (oval). I believe it was longer tip and (arguably) fixed the rattle/buzz problem that were affecting the earlier revisions of s10. Should check the sticker found at the inlet to see the date it was purchased.

My S12 which came after the S10 models has the sticker saying it was 2006/09/10. So if the sticker has a similar date it should be revised. However the main difference that you should check for is the return loop. The pipe should be straight unlike earlier versions.

Yeah I've got the revised version and no buzzing sound at all, still sounds good after a yr! S10 looks better than S12 if you can find the revised version....
