Hi,

Been a long time Honda owner. Joined up coz I have been looking at replacing my DC2R and have no idea what to get. I need something with 4 doors.. yada yada.. So I thought I'd poke around here.... most likely looking at an EK civic.. which will need to be tricked up of course. Afterall a baby seat and roof racks don't seem right for a typu-rrrrrr

A few hondas that have been in the family:

84 Civic Sedan.. 784,000 km's ... retired
92 Civic Sedan.. 280,000 km's and still going
96 Civic Sedan.. 260,000 km's and still going
92/93 LS Integra.. 180,000 km's ... sold off
(update model)
99 DC2 Type-R.. 171,000 km's ... still going
06 CRV.. 25,000kms ... still going

See you around

Ivan

In an ideal world, I would keep the teg as a weekender... considering my outlaws live 5 minutes from the Phillip Island race track is even more reason, but alas, my finances don't allow it. So, either I keep it as a daily driver and find some way to get a child seat in it that i can get my kid into, or replace it for a while... until i can once more afford something good (perhaps never)...

but it's sooooo hard. i can't even bring myself to put an ad in for it on carsales! ehehe.. i mean.. it's a modern classic. it was THE best front wheel drive car of it's time and is the last Honda that was built like a Honda... by which I mean, wishbones all around and an engine that spins anti-clockwise...

*sigh*

man... thats a hard decision... honestly, id sacrifice the whole rear seat, even if it meant bolting up some sorta magastructure 2 fit the babyseat, so id b able 2 keep the R.

Another reason 2 keep it is the k's on the clock, its pretty high so i doubt ud get more than 18 for it, when we both know that the car should b a lot more than that.

Ah well... goodluck man, decisions decisions.

I reckon you would be better off looking at other manufacturers besides Honda seeing as you're after a sedan.
Lots of choices aside from Honda..
