how to remove an altenator from 87 accord

hey just wondering does any one know how to get the altenator out of an 87 accord ca we have it off but it is stuck we have got it to we may have to remove the cv to get it out which we really dont want to as we just filled it all up with new oil when we done the clutch has any one done this before and if so how did you do it thanks fo4 your help.

ok thanks well we got it out any way we had to take the cv out from the rotor then pull it to the side where it just dropped out the bottom
