Has anyone got the Mp3 player as an accesory.

If so.. how much did it cost and did it replace the 6 stacker?

Cant remember exactly how much it cost sorry, somewhere in the vicinity of $1000.

No it wont replace the 6 stacker. As its neither single or double din. The extra mp3 player or tape deck is mounted in the console below.

From memory, the MP3 player option was around $800-900, which is a rip-off.
I'd rather just get a portable mp3 player that can broadcast. Much cheaper option although the sound quality may not be as good. Who cares when you are saving heaps of money?

You would care if you are into high sound quality. But then again, if you are into it, you would have upgraded the audio system and used an aftermarket mp3 player :D

I laughed at them when they wanted to sell me the cassette and mp3 players. Kind of the same laugh when they told me how much they charge to tint the windows and rust proof the car! From memory the cassette player was about $700 ~ $800, and the mp3 player was about $1100. I have the pricing sheet here somewhere for all the accessories, can't find it at the moment.

I agree MP3 player and stuff are such a big rip off but tinting??
I rang around few places to find out and several places quoted the same price ($395) for premium tint as what the dealer quoted me.

Thats pretty cheap for tint from a dealer...

My honda dealer quoted me $600 for the tint and $799 for security window tint.

Anywayz its a waste of money to put the mp3 accessory on the Euro Accord from the dealer....

I would have tinting on my car if I was quoted $395. I was quoted $550 for normal, $650 for security tinting. This is BEFORE tax (I don't pay tax ;p).

Yeah I got the MP3 player option, best thing ever. much easier than using the stupid 6 stacker, and I can play all my collections of half a dozen discs!

If you are into high sound quality, you wouldn't be using MP3's at all ;)
