hey guys, just wondering if a dc5r muffler would fit on a dc2 if the inlet was customised to suit dc2?

with a 300 dollars worth of mods it might. waste of time I think. Beside DC2R muffler is better than DC5R (AUDM) I think

$300 worth of mods ? NO.
Take it to a xorst shop , hand them $50-80 and they will cut or weld and make it fit.

I think they'll have to redo the bend over the axle, that's the hard part. I don't think it'll match the dc2 bend.
then redo the hangers
Yeah dont think that would cost $300 though maybe around 50-100

Fyi I think he is talking about the muffler "muffles sound" at the back.
You are thinking of the exhaust.

Not like its going to be a shit job provided the shop does a good job at welding.

because a JDM dc5r/dc5s muffler is better than a dc2r muffler.

Better looking or better in performance?
performance wise I dun think so (well except the JDM DC5R) cuz oem AUDM DC5 zorst pipe is only 2" while the DC2R already got 2.25", in this case I'd also assume that the piping that goes through the muffler is also smaller in AUDM DC5 compare to DC2R.

Performance.
The JDM dc5r/dc5s muffler has a bypass flap that opens up after certain rpms.
inlet is 2.25"

What I meant was AUDM dc5R not the new S model
DLST - it's really hard to find the JDM or DC5s exhaust. Myself is hunting for the JDM DC5R b-pipe :)
