View Full Version : Which car to replace DC2R?

Hi,
Ok.. So I have a DC2R which needs to go. My only problem is what can I get with the money I sell it for that has 4 doors and some poke?
Naturally I'm talking about a honda. But what do I get?
I either get an Accord, which is probably bigger than I need, or look at an older civic. But which to get?
I thought maybe an Accord VTi-S, if I can find one. Lower it, rims + exhaust and a stereo.. that should do.
Or, perhaps an EK civic sedan. Or maybe an EH sedan. The advantage of the EK is it's more modern, slightly roomier and (big plus) it has split fold rear seats. Not so important for the baby seat, but important for fitting in fishing rods and cricket bags!
BUT.. The older civic (specifically the VTi) had more power and is smaller and lighter... and cheaper, leaving more money for mods.
My query then is, which car has the most potential? Which car can I slap on a few bits and be happy with? (I know nothing will ever live up to the teg)
Can I get 120kw from either civic or woulda it be cheaper/easier to slap in a Vti-R engine? If so, where do I get a nice reco donk with go quick bits on it already?
........
oops... carried on a bit more than planned...
Thanks
Ivan

Start looking at other manufacturers since you're after a sedan.
Plenty of other options out there.

should start a company called RENT-A-CHILD and your kid can be the first to be rented out.

TRUE, a sedan is going to give you room for a baby seat.
but it is also going to give you more room for accidents to happen in the backseat...
then you will be posting up asking for which car to replace your civic sedan.
so you're better off just getting an odessey
