Hi guys, a few weeks ago a woman rear-ended my civic and it was written off by her insurance company. I got paid out yadda yadda, unfortunate that it happened. Anyway..

I am looking at buying a 1994 integra VTi-R, everything looks good on it however the rear spoiler needs relacquering. Now I was pondering to myself weither if I was to buy the car should I:

a) Pay for the spoiler to be fixed
b) Buy a new VTi-R spoiler (from where?)
c) Buy a Type R spoiler

Just want your opinions on weither a Type R Wing would fit on a VTi-R? I dont see why not as the car is 1994 shape.

Could I buy them from wreckers if I was lucky? Or would I have to go online?

Also, how much approximately would it be to get the original spoiler relacquered?

Thanks in advance.

When you say "relacquered" you mean repainted right? That should be relatively cheap to do, or a second hand item should be easy to find.

A Type R spoiler will fit, but it doesn't have a centre brake light, so you'll need to get the centre window light working to remain legal.

respraying your spoiler will cost roughly $250. slightly less, slightly more.

just take it off and plug holes in it is the easier way.

im sure u could go to a wrecking yard and pick up a spoiler.

$250 for it to be resprayed is very pricey. for that kinda cash u would expect the holes to be covered and the whole boot to be resprayed.

post a wanted to buy thread in the wanted to buy section.

or remove the spoiler and go to clarks rubber for some plugs to cover the holes.
