em1 speed issues

hey guys my friends em1 speedo is way off.
its always displaying between 10-20kmph faster that wat it really is.
is it some as simple as replacing the vss? or could it be something else?

i got my mate to drive 70kmph next to me n the speedo was reading 85-90kmph

Did you just recently buy the car off someone? How many Ks have it got now?
An inaccurate speedo is a sign that the unit has been tempered with (usually to rewind the kms back). If not, it needs to be recalibrated again.

not my car, but i will get my mate to swap his cluster to see if it fixes it

My EM1 always reads about 8-10ks faster than wat i am actually doing.
