Hi GUYS,
I want to know if extractors are universal for B series engine, example with the civics and integras?
If they are, are they also univerals on prelude?
Any help will be appreciated.
THANKS

From what ive read/heard
b18s will fit b18 (obviously) and b16
BUT
b16 will only fit other b16s not b18s
Preludes, as far as i know, the gen4 h22a (import only as far as i know) and the gen5
h22a are compatable...

just to clarify b18 will fit b16... but not in a stock engine format.

i had jdm ITR b18 header on my civic b16. then i took em off and put them on a b18. i hope that clarifies things up
B16A header won't fit B18C unless you modify it a bit. The B18C block is 7mm longer than the B16A block.

Isn't it the B16 header hangs too low in B18Cs?

I think the general consencus is that the ports match up OK, just the ground clearance/sump is the issue.....

Thanks your response guys,
From the information posted from you guys the ports match up OK for the b16's and b18's?
However the ground clearance /sumps are an . Would this be due to the b16's ground clearance /sumps being not long engouh for the b18's?
Thats why the b18's could be used for the b16's however not vice versa?
Would any one know if the ports with the b16's and b18's extactors also match up to the h22's on the prelude?
Thanks.

As far as I know the ports on the H22a are spaced further apart but i could be wrong

so whats the answer???
is it bolt on from one to another? if not what need needs to be done or modified for it to fit?
b18 fit b16 =
b16 fit b18 =
b16/18 fit h22 = noooo!!!...because ports dont line up... :D
seriously want to know asap cause thinking about buying a b16a header for my b18 dc2.....

B20C = B18C
i.e. B16A will rub on oil pan...

b18 fit b16 = Yes, but hangs lower under the sump. not good for speed humps/driveways if ur car is really low
b16 fit b18 = some fit and some dont. depending on design( 4-2-1, 4-1). but if it fits it will sit really close of up agains ur sump.
