Hi guys,
anybody know much about the pioneer head unit DEH-P960MP? Anybody had any problems with it? Im not a huge fan of pioneer head units, but just wondering if this one was actually good, or just for show? It looks nice, but just wondering if the quality was any good?

Hey,

I got it in my car and theres no trouble at all with it. I used to havethe 8450 which also folded down but sometimes when i pressed buttons on it it would turn off and on by itself.....the 9650 is heaps better in quality and build.

f there was one bad thing i had to say it's that it gets the cds so hot that they skip sometimes....but all in all not bad..

960 is for USDM, different radio frequency range AFAIK

yups i got the 8650... its exactly the same as the 9650... only thing is that you're paying 300 bucks extra for a motorised flap... thats the basic difference..

i have a p9650mp and it is the best unit i have ever experienced. the ability to be able to upload your own pictures is cool.
The best features are the 3 high powered rca outputs including one non fading sub output.
It is definately worth the money.
How much are you gonna pay? check on Ebay as i got mine of Ebay for under $900 and most shops sell it for $1800
Catch.
