hey guys can anyone reccommend a reasonably priced (aka dirt cheap) alarm system for my civic. i'm really only wanting to make my central locking -> remote central locking, because if somebody did steal my car, they would only be able to buy drugs of poor quality after selling it. so yeah, basically, alarm+central locking for lowest price?

i wouldnt really recommend getting a cheap alarm, u must not love your car very much heheheh. check on ebay i bought an alarm with a sliding face remote, looks really good. costed about 40bucks i think.
but then theres the cost of installation, or if ur going to attempt yourself, which i also do not recommend if you dont know what your doing.

You're goin to want an immobiliser to the AS/NZ Standard, nothing else, basically they come with black wires instead of coloured ones dodgy alarms have. $200 will have one supplied and fitted in Brisbane. Also an added bonus you also will receive a discount from your insurance company if you hold full comp on the car.

im like half-finished installing it. waiting for door actuators to arrive from the states for the central locking. i got quoted 250 for install. i think not.
