perhaps you could explain what you get for the extra $6500.

Zimp13

leather seats, stering, gear knob, sunroof, driver lumbar support, electric driver seat adjustment, heated front seats, curtain airbag, foglight, auto headlights, auto wiper, 17" rims

sounds like a good deal to me.

I think you should go for it...I shoulda get luxury instead of my standard euro...yes it costs more, but with the leather seats and all...its worth the money

I own a luxury euro and these are just my opinions;

leather seats/stering/gear knob - seriously leather is way over rated. They wrinkle with age, are expensive to maintain, cold in the winter, hot in the summer. I personally don't like the leather scent.

sunroof - is good for extra lighting, and it does make the car feel bigger i guess.

driver lumbar support - I remember reading that most people find lumber supports very uncomfortable, I have also heard it's beneficial to have in long drives, but try it out and see whether you're comfortable with an extra hump pushing against your back, i hate it.

electric driver seat adjustment - Works okay. Don't see why you would need this, doesn't even have position memories. So you might as well be adjusting everything manually.

heated front seats - Once again i think that this is overrated. 'Hi' makes my bum too hot, 'Lo' .. heck i cant even feel 'Lo'

curtain airbag - here's the first useful extra :D

foglight - do nothing! cosmetics i'd say.

auto headlights - never had experience with these. no comment.

auto wiper - Not hard to turn the wipers on myself. hate how the computer decides when i need my damn wipers.

17" wheels - lol Honda is still putting 16's on their sedans!? lol wtf.

anyway, i dont think those extras are worth your $6500. I reckon you can spend that $6500 elsewhere to improve your car :)

Zimp13

thanx guys... i personally dont like leather seats... but i thought in the future i can just get used cloth seats and replace those leather ones.... sounds stupid....

aftermarket sunroof oredy $2000.... standard 16" rims are really ugly and i know i would change them to a 17" rims and also need to spend on tyres (i would say around $1500-$2000).... these 2 items already $4000...... might as well add another $2500 then.... m i thinking right????

I'd seriously consider the base V6 version over the Vti-L.

v6 is good for highway kms.... but for city use, it does consume more petrol than the 2.4l.... v6 base compare with vti-l.... ur opinion???? thanx

wouldnt that make it use less petrol

Research first before you assume that. :) No matter how much you mod the 2.4L, it won't be close to the 3.5L, or even the old 3.0L.

I agree, the 16s are too small for the car and dont look good. The vti-L is probably worth the extra amount. You cant go wrong there! What colour are you looking at?

hahaha i'd say 6.5k on some wheels would make that vti look hot
i drive a vti and my boss drives the vti-l...not much difference...
althought might i add the vti's fabric is a b**ch to clean.

originally wanna go for pearl white... but interior only comes in cream (a disaster to keep clean).... so now i guess its silver with black interior..... i still like the pearl white metallic....

No it will not - don't buy the extras to help resale because it will not help. The resale gap between the Vti and Vti-l will always be there but it will shrink very quickly over the years on the second hand market.

Buy the extras because you want them - not to help resale values.
