Ive been doing a lot of research into an aftermarket clutch since my is abt
to go. I looked into excedy, daikin, etc but ive come to learn that the a/m
clutch can make the pedal feel sticky and generally annoying to operate...?
Any suggestions?

??? if you want oem get oem...
a middle power clutch will make your clutch pedal feel firm... the more it grips the firmer it is. I like this as it is good exercise for my left leg.
after a week it will become "normal" all about perception.

I thought Daikin and Exedy were one and the same?
I agree with Type One's thoughts.
My Exedy Organic "Heavy Duty" is alot stiffer and a little harder to manage, butyou settle into it over time. When I drive other DC's with OEM clutches now, they feel loose and shite. :)
my daiken hter then was lighter then stovck

A higher clamp loading should equal a firmer feel in the way that the springs are harder to pull apart. I don't know if you can change the release fork. you can with the nissans and their tripple and quad plate clutches. I think it would be a waste of time on a single plater though.
dont get a hell hardcore cluctch because it CAN wear out gearbox quicker, get something 'streetable'

Stay away from button clutches or you'll rear end plenty of cars :P
A mate has a 3 button clutch on his FTO and its just shocking to drive..
If you want extra grip go the exeddy h.duty but I find stock to still be fine..
unless your a drag slut then either will be fine = ]

Yeh, i had a 5 button clutch in my line. Was hard at 1st but great after a while..
Dont get a button clutch on your honda though, unless its turbo and making over 200kW at the fronts..
Just get a heavy duty "standard" clutch..
