looks like you have a kit (well loom at least) for H4 bulbs there sir.
Post pics of the bulbs.
The three prong plug is for one H4 connector.
Ther other little clip is for the switching mechanism on the bulb.

i think you have the right bulbs and the wrong loom.
You are sposed to be able to plug that three prong thing into your original wiring loom in your car. The hb4 prong is only twin pronged whilst that one you show is triple pronged (h4). The extra prong on the H4 kit is the on off switch for the high beam signal.
The extra plug that you cant identify is for the switching mechanism and delivers this extra on off signal to the bulb so that your high beams still work. Obviously as hb4 is low beam only, this isnt necessary, which leads me to believe you have the wrong loom.

I think I know what the problem is.
the item inside the yellow circle is for the signal to power the HID kit, on and off
it should plug into your stock headlight sockets which plug into the original bulb
the problem is that they have given you a H4 socket, not a HB4
get back to the person who supplied it to you and kick their ass

are you 100% they are plugged in correctly
you really have to push the connecter from the ballast to the OEM plug really hard sometimes.
my old kit in my dc2 was a beyoch.

You have to have both sides hooked up otherwise their will not be a complete circuit! it happened to mine. as soon as i had both plugged in it worked.

tho would this kit still require a harness????
TRUMAN
19-06-2008, 06:32 PM
ok guys, i mite try this setup with the harness that wrongly came with the kit... maybe this mite work.. here are the pic set up in order... hopefully its understandable.
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r227/truman295/part1-1.jpg
so circles there will be one part ground wire to chassis and other to oem harness. The X means im leaving out because if u look carefully the circle that will connect with the oem harness seems to be one same wire?
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r227/truman295/part2-1.jpg
this is just a continuation of the wiring , the X im leaving out because i dont tink i would have any use for it
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r227/truman295/part3-1.jpg
so this is the middle of the setup, circle will go to battery and the X is suppose to be the connecting thingy into the H4 harness??
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r227/truman295/part4.jpg
and this is the same as the left side of the setup, vice versa..
wat u guys think of this setup? i mite then work??? or maybe i just need to get a HB4 loom/harness from the seller?
bungsai

that kit should not require a loom.
if it doesnt work, dont mess with it
send it back and get a new one.
