hi,
thinking of running a injen CAI for my DC2R, with regards, would i make more power tuned if i were to get the Spoon 70mm throttle body or is there a advantage of getting the 70mm T.B? is it worth it to upgrage the intake manifold also?
thanks

The spoon throttle body is tapered to 70mm. The actual throttle plate is 62mm or 64mm. Don't need to port match.

why port match? spoon is tapered from 62mmor 64mm to 70mm.

i was going to say, 70 might be abit big for a std itr motor.
i got a 65mm TB off fatboyz and had it tapered and got it put in with a skunk2 intake manifold on my vtir.
i must say i did feel an improvment in the midrange (4krpm) all the way to redline. felt more gains with these two parts then when i put my mugen airbox on. think i lost a tiny bit of torque below 4krpm though. makes sense though as the runners are shorter on the skunk2 IM.
