we're not the fastest , we dont have the best looking car , we DO have the most fun though and thats what matters the most . We'll have the marquee again and promo girls and food , and i'll probably have a race or 7 if i'm lucky

If you run a turbo /supercharger or NOS you can't run in all motor .

Just heard that there's going to be a Honda going for the Australin ALL motor class reccord as well .. aiming for a low 9 i think .
the count is now 3 20b pp all motor mazda's for jamboree .. looks like we'll be back to owning all motor again ..

Any Hondas entering? It would be nice to see some resistance to the Mazda domination this year. The field will be much togher from the other makes and it would be good to see the Honda boys keep them honest. There hasn't been much talk at all about the event on here and its only a matter of 5 weeks away. What's the news?

It is the green Gemini ( I am assuming the same one) that ran a few years ago. I had been told that the engine was sold to another young guy who I have spoken to quite a few times at WSID. The old setup ran 12.19 with wheels up launches.

I will take a punt that it has a new setup in it that will run even quicker. Michael Baghdadi is the owner of Mick's Motorsport here in Sydney for those that don't know him. He has been campaigning NA Geminis for a very long time. I remember for instance racing him back when we raced here in Sydney next door at Eastern Creek. :)

T.v coverage , all the things we need to be recognised as the true force we are , in the fastest growing sport compact class in the world.
for too many years it's been very much us v them brand slag match ,i've been guilty of it myself . Althought a bit of healthy rivalry never goes astray . People like Daz ( Grumpy Rooster & myself ) amongst others have been working pretty hard to bring the class together & i feel now for the first time there's a real mutual respect between the brands be it: Honda ,V.w Holden or Mazda or whoever else wants to throw their hat in the ring so to speak .. We have an oportunity now to really stamp our collective feet ( or shake our pom pom's ) whatever you're into .. To show that we are here for the long haul ,it's taken us probably 18 years since the first arrival of the turbo cars to gain this much popularity back into our sport , lets do something with it .. i'm sure we all have contacts in the industry be it mechanical or corporate . It may take a few months or even a year , but believe me it will benifit EVERYONE, we all have the same love of motorsport , we love to race . who wants to give it a go .???

You guys that are knoocking on the door of 11's remember that once you run an 11 you need a Super Street licence to race. So make sure you have some cash on hand (can't remember the cost exactly but its around $150. Check ANDRA (http://www.andra.com.au))

OK , seing as this will be the best jamboree ever , and the fact that i have a marquee as well :lol: . I thought it would be nice to have a little meet n greet On saturday night Nothing fancy (no black tie required ) Just a little gesture so thank each and everyone for coming along to join the ranks of the greatest racing class in the world ( yeah im biased) it wont be going all night as we all have some Bussiness to attend to the following day :wink: now that there are 20 entries ...yes another one i was sms'd last night . I was thinking after the last qualifing runs at 8:30 just turn up and introduce yourself , have a chat meet some of people you dont know in the class ... i may even look into getting some pizza's if you guys want to do that ... Let myself or Grumpy Rooster know before friday or even at the track . who wants in ?

I've just been informed The all motor Sponsor Steve Hellyer will be in attendance with some castrol goodies to give away , we should all thank Steve for the massive contribution he has made to ensure that OUR class gains the recognition it deserves , Also it will be advertized all week on Speed FM and all day over the PA at jamboree ,i will add more later as i know more ..

There were actually 6 Hondas from memory, 5 of them in All Motor.

Well done to everyone who competed. It would have had to have been the biggest Jambo ever with a huge number of entrants and big crowds both days. PP Sports Sedan and I had a great weekend even though he got carried away in the 1st round of eliminations and red lit by 0.002 and also broke out by 0.002. But that was the best run of the weekend so we were still very happy. :)
