Hi All got a set of Tien Coilovers SS on my EK, jst wondering what do i need 2 do 2 maintain them, Oil em or anything like that??

can i ask how you like the tein ss coz i am thinking of buying them soon just like how comfy to drive on.

usually you dont need to oil them - they are a gas shock. i guess the only thing would be to clean the shaft once in a while of dirt and girt.

Phil3842, i have the AUDM tein SS from fulcrum. They are VERY comfortable even on the hardest setting. They do roll a bit if you dont have a rear swaybar, hence my signature.

These a definately not suited to track AT ALL. Only good for street use.

i got tein ss on my ek, they are great for syd roads, i put the rear slightly harder also have swaybars. but in terms of track i agree i think they would be too soft.
so for a daily they are perfect.
the only maintenance you would have to do is spray the tein spray/wd40 on the exposed metal parts of the coilovers

Tein SS is pretty comfortable for daily, I highly recommend them. It will be better to have EDFC, so you could adjust the damper setting in the car.

yeah as sireal says you've usually only just gotta clean em down once and a while

clean them, make sure dust boots havent cracked etc
