apexi rsm - where to tap?

just wondering if its better to plug an apexi rsm into the ecu or the back of the cluster. im already running an aftermarket tacho off the cluster wiring, as i dont like the digital rpm read out of the RSM. apparently it is more accurate from behind the cluster?

makes very little difference where u tap it in,except cluster is usually closer to where u want to mount the RSM,saving time & materials.

speedo & ECU read the same wire = no difference.

ECU makes the input to the ICM,tacho reads the output of the ICM = very,very minute difference if ICM in good working order,as changes in the velocity & direction of current flow approach the speed of light.
