Only brand which springs to mind is VDO Dayton, although i'm not too sure if they still make the units or not.

GPS usually have headphones out, so you can buy the headphone jack to RCA connectors.

Hi guys,

We have a GPS unit that has both video and audio out for those screens comes with video input, it then is controlled by the remote instead of touch screen.

But am I allow to say what company name here? is it against the forum policy?:zip:

garmin GNV53 have what you want. HITV also do one that WILL take a touchscreen input. what model/brand radio do you have?

both units are $1kish.

either uint will work. both are remote controlled. the HITV item would have worked better if you had a JVC touchscreen.

google HITV- it should be on the site.

1k$ ?? wow...

Thats nothing. Remember when Alpine touchscreen DVD players were $3K......not that many years ago.

In all my wisdom...... *shakes head*

I remember the D900R was like $4500 when it first came out...

+1. thats what they are worth for an external GPS unit. not one of th eportable things that gets lost easily.
