Pioneer 5050UB

After 3 years, my old head unit has finally shat itself.

Based on my criteria and price range im looking at the Pioneer DEH-P5050UB (I believe this is the 2008 version of the '5' series head units?). Can anyone tell me their personal experience with this unit?

Also, what changed were made between the 5950IB (2007 unit?) and the 5050UB (2008 unit)?

How does the 6050UB differ from the 5050UB? The only major difference I can see is the front display & motorised face...?

not sure about the real main difference between the 5950IB and the 5050UB, except for its looks. both have 3x RCA, both are ipod ready, i guess its just coz 5050UB is the 2008 model.

As far as I know, the only main differences in the 6050UB and the 5050UB include:

1. 6050UB has dot-matrix display
2. 6050UB has an auto-flap face

not really worth spending extra money for the 6050UB (IMO)....unless i've missed a very important difference between the 6050UB and the 5050UB.
