central locking.

my central locking seems not to be central locking.
as i get out and lock my car, it locks - both passenger and driver.
but as i unlock - only the driver side does, i have to unlock the passenger by hand. is this a common problem or is mine just busted.
i bought the car like this.. dont really car as im usally the only person in the car.. but it would be good to know if anybody else has had that problem.
i have a dc2 vti-r by the way. 93 model.

Sounds like the actuator (motor that locks/unlocks) in the passenger door needs replacing. You can get one for $10 from Jaycar.

ive never heard of that.. is that in melbourne?
and is it a standard fit by mechanic
