Hay guys.
Just wondering if a DC2 rear sway bar would fit a EK1?
Also, would a 14mm sway need re-inforced sub frame on a EK1?
Sorry for the noob Q's
Thanks

A DC2R rear swaybar will fit on a EK with the mounting of a ASR kit , and EK4 or EK9 endlinks , plus washer adapters to suit.
A 14mm swaybar from a EK4 can bolt on with EK4 mounting + endlinks...no need for reinforcement

yes, it will fit if u have the RSB brackets for EK, and EK rear LCAs that have sway bar mounting holes...i think u'd be better off getting a RSB from EK4 (should be straight fit)
for the next Q, no u don't need them...

FYI , all EK lower control arms have swaybar "holes" rear for swaybar endlinks to connect to.

oh ok
cool thanks
reckon its a noticable difference if i put a DC2 Vtir 14mm rear sway bar on my EK sedan? (without brace)
or should i have to go for a ASR brace and 22mm rear sway bar.
Reason i ask, ASR brace is quite expensive.

The ASR brace is expensive as it works

okay guys
I have aquired a 14mm DC2 Vtir rear sway bar. I thought i'd give this ago first and see the difference for myself.
Anyone know what extra parts i might need to fit the sway bar on my EK?

Sorry for major thread revival but does anyone have an answer to this question?
Will a dc2 vtir rear sway bar with vtir end links/brackets be a direct bolt on to an EK? Thanks! :)

Most probably ek4/ek9 endlinks + misc hardware.
Maybe need ASR kit to mount it too, maybe not.
