hey can anyone tell me which one the indicator wire is in an eg civic? im attempting to wire up an alarm and im stuck on this bit. would i be better off just wiring to the hazards? thanks

The easiest place to find the indicator wires is at the largest plug which plugs into the front of your underdash fuse box.U can also find both wires at the hazard switch if u so desire.

Wire colours will usually be,green/blue & green/yellow.

If your alarm only has one wire to flash the indicators on & off,u will need a double pole/double throw(DPDT) relay(12VDC coil) with a contact rating of at least 2 amps,Jaycar has em,for about $5.
If your alarm has 2 wires,just join one to each indicator wire.

thanks dude i got it anyways. my next question is where do you wire the override wire for remote engine start? haha
