as the title says. I just finished doing an engine swap (b16 for b16 (the old one died)), and the engine light is on. it's blinking every code (1-17 20 21 22 23 and maybe a couple others) the only one it's not blinking is for fuel supply. I take it I haven't plugged something in. because lights like the oil and temp work, the electonic speedo works and everything. ummmmm what the deuce?

I thought B16A(1) was obd0 and B16A2 was obd1. if I'm wrong I guess I'm running obd1. whatever's stock in a ef9 is what i've got

B16a2 can be OBDI and OBDIIa and OBDIIb

EF9 is OBDO,

check your power to the ecu, and ground points

just in case it matters. the car runs fine. would the fact that the ecu has been unplugged (no battery in the car) have anything to do with it? does it need to be reprogrammed?

no makes no difference

you need to check the wiring

As`ECU-MAN said check the wiring,in the case of mass code outbreak,it sounds like u havent plugged something in properly or tried to operate the vehicle with something not plugged up properly.

Just reset the ecu & u'll prob find every code will just disappear, but still check all the plugs as something could still be loose & cause reoccuring probs.
