Head Unit Help******

HEY I AM INSTALLING A HEAD UNIT INTO MY LATE 98 EK1 AND WE HAVE COME TO A HALT.

We have all the speaker wires connected.

BUT we have 3 wires left and dont know what they are.

White w/Green stripe

Yellow w/ White stripe

Red w/Black stripe

We need one:

Power antenna trigger

12V ignition wire

12V battery wire

I have searched and cannot find which one is which.

Can someone shed some light please?

so those are the wires from the headunit?
-the white w/green (power antenna) goes with the brown w/ white stripe from the car.
-yellow w/white(12v ignition) goes with yellow w/red stripe
-red w/black stripe(12v battery) goes with white w/yellow or blue stripe.

Those are the wires left from the car not from the head unit.

Also need to kniow what the illumination lead hooks up to?

illumination usually connects to the accessory wire which is usually blue
or blue/yellow

EDIT : do you have a tester?

Test the wires for live wires with car being off, 2nd switch and lights.

this will tell u which wire is your memory wire, accessory and power
