Hi there,

Ever since I changed my roof top to a Robbins Top rear glass top, the electric motor seems to struggle to open and close the roof. Sometimes I need to use my hand to help guide the roof to the closing position.

I'm guessing the new roof is heavier than the factory roof. So if you have had your roof replaced, did you have this problem? What are my options to getting this fixed?

Thanks for reading...

I replaced my 2000 model roof with a standard item as the old unit was leaking where they crase on the folds on the side.

It all works the same speed as all ones I have seen.

If the grounding wire doesn't work the grease you need to try like was mentioned before is for the S2000 and the part number from Honda is 08798-9013.
