Hi guys,

I saw a picture in on thread of a silver s2k with very nice reflector, it wasn't the ap2 headlight just a special ap1 headlight and was wondering whether the owner can report the pic, please.
I have been looking threads after threads and still can't find it.

The reflector was not amber or silverish but more like a smoked color and the car had black(cf?) lips on the front bumper and sideskirts

Any help is appreciated

The car in question is "Parkes".

It looks even hotter in real life. He's overseas partying atm, but if you search s2ki.com for mulderisation, or mulder headlights, the thread will pop up.

Vyets, not sure if the diffuser in your picture are mulderized but looks like it.

Ludecrs, thanks for the tip , I found plenty of picture of mulderized diffuser and that's exactly what I was after, Has -parkes- also done that mod(as I couldn't see it in his carbonfiber bits mod back in feb08).

I'm wondering whether I can open up the headlight with a heat gun.
(the idea of using the oven is scary shit to me)

That's it, that's the pic that caught my eye and that I was looking all around for. Any idea if this can be done with a heat gun rather than oven ?

Also, I take it that this has been done only on amber diffuser, has anyone seen it on something else and can post some pics, please ?
I refer to the 2 different type of clear diffuser below. Most s2k have the second one. Can anyone advise where I could buy the first one ?

First one was a Ricks2k? Or HTG (hardtopguy) or one of those vendors anyway, item that was sold.

I believe its been discontinued.

The 2nd one, is the stock standard one for every country but North America.

Heat gun is more dangerous then oven and more work, If you have a big enough oven I would recommend it less damage will be done and it's alot easier. I did mine with a smaller oven that didn't fit the headlight, was abit of work but got it done. With my old car I did it with a bigger oven and it was alot easier/quicker to do. Reason is, an oven will heat up the whole headlight, and u can start prying it and moving along, where as the heat gun will only do a section at a time.

Not sure, I've only seen the second at Rick's s2k which is the stock one I've got: http://www.ricks2k.com/products/images/diffusers/JDM%20Smoked%20and%20Clear.jpg

Never seen the first one which is the one I'm after

HardTopGuy don't sell any diffuser for s2k

LOL I'm back from partying :p

Yup I mulderized my head lights. I wouldn't use a heat gun. The whole headlight needs to be evenly heated so the glue comes undone then you can peel the casing off. To be honest... it's a painful job, your finger tips get burnt and it's alot of bull$hit trying to get everything right.

But in the end it's worth it. Heres a picture with the parkers on. When you indicate the whole strip lights up, it looks pretty cool.

Yeah man, it's a chargespeed kit with a custom front bar.
