89 CIVIC SEATS what can Fit

G'day All

Today i decided to try and fit some 4th Gen prelude seats into my 89 Civic sedan After getting both passenger seats out and taking off the seat's rails.

i managed to get one side on but the side with the control's is almost impossible (well thats without the correct tools, like a drill :p )

anyway i was wondering

A- What kind of seats can you fit into a old ED Civic (87 to 91 i think)

B- What Seats have you managed to fit into your Car

You will need custom seat rails to fit seats into an ed civic unless you buy aftermarket seat with rails made to fit the ed.

I fitted some del sol seat in my ed, had to make my own seat rails which isnt to hard if you are handy with a welder. All i had to do was reposition the mounting points.

what about gen2 crx seats?not too bad for stock seats and should bolt up to your rails. ive got a pair of recaros in with slight modification to the stock rails.. basically the racaros are slightly wider than your stock ones, so you will need to make some bars to suit the wider seat.
