I ve search and havent found the right answers

Just wondering can someone confirm if there is a seal thats in between the 2 plates on the vtec solenoid as circled in the image below? The vtec solenoid is leaking between the 2 plates on my b16a driving me nuts.

Regards Ken.

Yes there is a little o ring with a filter on it. From memory it was about $22ish from honda.

While you take it off, you may as well replace both the internal gasket and the one that connects the solenoid to the head.

The part numbers are -

Vtec solenoid A - 15825-PR3-005
Vtec solenoid B - 36172-PR3-005

^ any idea whether those part numbers are the same for all vtec solenoids or just b16a1 specifically?
