Spoon inner spacers

I have dc vtir just about to install spoon calipers. Do I need spoon inner spacers ( between the hub and rotor) i am thinking this is needed to center the rotor in the caliper. I am not talking about the ouside spacers that people use to fit the rims. (outside spacer is between the the wheel and the rotor)

can someone shed some light,
