Hi Guys just got a mugen header and was wondering if anyone knows the size of the high flow cat that I must get becos according to one of my friends, when I change my extractors on my Type R, The lenght for the cat must be shorter. Do anyone know the exact length? Cheers

a normal high flow cat will fit (ie a standard 2.5" high flow form any exhaust shop)... you will only need to worry about changing the cat when you get mugen catback exhaust :)

best is get the exhaust shop to measure and custome make one. don't think you can use the stock cat as jdm header is slightly longer.

Thanks guys but was wondering what length the hihgh flow cat should be so that I can ask someone to size it up in singapore and send it over...... :wave:

you mean a diff in diameter?? you can match a donut to the diameter of your flex piping.

if u use donut + flange u will not need flex pipe
if u use flex pipe, u will not need donut or flange

donut & flange is a better system as it does not leak and it is more compact

Thanks guys, I have done some research as well and found out that the donut and flange is the best way to go......


For the rims, let me just say it is not expensive, at least cheaper then te37s....lol.....
