Hey guys, the antenna on my 1999 teg vti-r is stuffed. It doesn't come up when I turn the radio on, not that I listen to the radio that much but I would prefer it to work. Do you guys know where i can get my hands on another antenna around melbourne. And would installing it be difficult?
thanks!

Go to Hondwreck in Clayton mate, they will have one because they have everything u could want for OEM honda parts. They'd even install it for you, (at a price).
If your looking for installation by yourself i remember there was a thread about installing a s2000 atenna, just search, that might help.
3 things things to have a think about before you go and buy one cos tegs have an issue with antennas, actually i think its honda in general, its pretty embarssaing switching to radio with a car for of ladies with the noise it makes!
1. It could be your antenna motor, in that case you will need a motor.
2. Or it could be the actual metal antenna thats bent, and you can hear this by the trade mark noise of lots of banging and clunking of the antenna trying to go up. In this case just replace the actual antenna (the metal thing you actually see), you can just get one from autobarn or repco etc.
3. Could be a fuse for the antenna or you stez box antenna out may not be actually connected or it may of come loose
