anyone know whether the 96spec dc2r wheels will clear a 98spec dc2r brake setup?
calipers have already been machined and are okay with stock ek4 wheels currently

edit for clarity;
currently running 98spec dc2r calipers on an ek4 hub(4x114.3 rotors redrilled to 4x100) with stock ek4 rims at the moment

need to know whether i can run the 96spec itr rims if i get a 4x114.3 conversion from a 96spec and bolt on my calipers and rotors

my mate with a jdm 96 spec dc2r has 98spec calipers with his 96 spec wheels :thumbsup:

Or you can run 3mm spacer to clear it

Once again you have proven the crap you post on this forum :thumbdwn:

96 JDM DC2R is 4x114.3

98 spec DC2R is 5x114.3

well afaik calipers have been shaved since they fit under ek4 rims and i'm running them on the stock ek4 hub at the moment

so since i'm running the dc2r calipers on an ek4 hub, does it means i can just bolt on the rotors/calipers to the 96spec 4x114.3 setup and run the 96spec rims?(they're 4x114.3 rotors redrilled to 4x100 at the moment)

Im not quite 100% positive on why people are quoting the 4 * 114.3 figures and not the OFFSET....isnt the offset (+30, +45 etc.) what you are after....arent the 4 * 114.3 figures just the offset of the nuts in comparasion to one another, not the actual interior of the rim?

Im probebly wrong, but that was the impression i got.

sorry just assumed everyone realised the jdm 96spec itr rims were +50 and 4x114.3 :)
nevermind just going to run spacers + extended wheel studs

you dont need extended wheel studs.

Just run 3mm spacer. thats all you need to run 98 spec caliper + 282mm disc with 96 spec itr wheels
